Math Fair
We at the Washington Student Math Association are excited to unveil a new event: The WSMA Math Fair! This exciting event presents a unique opportunity for students to interact with research and explore the world of recreational mathematics in a science fair-style competition.
The Math Fair will feature a team competition (1 to 4 students per team) with two divisions (grades 3-5 and grades 6-8) where teams present their projects using trifolds, posters, demonstrations, and/or models. Awards will be given for the best projects!
Even if you’re not submitting a project, you can still join in on the fun! Attendees will have the chance to browse through various booths, engage in fun math-related games and activities (with cool prizes and swag!), explore interactive projects, and enjoy all the excitement that math has to offer.
Math Fair will be held at Eastlake High School (400 228th Ave NE, Sammamish, WA 98074) on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Students, parents, or coaches interested in the competition can fill out our interest form, and we will be in touch with updates and more details. The form will close on February 17th at 11:59 PM.
