Math Fair

Registration is now open for WSMA's Math Fair! This exciting event presents a unique opportunity for students to interact with research and explore the world of mathematics in a science fair-style competition.

There are two ways to experience the Math Fair:

  1. Submit a project to the competition (recommended, open to grades 3-8): The Math Fair will feature a team competition (1 to 4 students per team) with two divisions: grades 3-5 and grades 6-8. Teams will present their projects using trifolds, posters, demonstrations, and/or models. Awards will be given for the best projects!
  2. Attend the fair without competing (open to all ages): Even if you’re not submitting a project, you can still join in on the fun! Attendees will have the chance to browse various booths, engage in fun math-related games and activities (with cool prizes!), explore interactive projects, and enjoy all the excitement that math has to offer.
